The thanks and the kiss earned a smile and a bit of flush from Trip. "I'd hope you'd like 'em. They reminded me of home so I thought I'd bring a little bit of home to you." Wow, that was corny, but thankfully, Trip made a living off being corny so he was able to just shrug it off.

He paused by the door to remove his boots and outerwear, so he didn't bring any slush into Phoebe's apartment. One thing he missed about Florida and the island both, they didn't have this problem.

Then Trip followed Phoebe into her apartment. "Nice place. And it's been interesting. It's funny, I've been to the moon and discovered new planets but I've never been to New York. It's been fun discovering a place on my own planet. What 'bout you?"
